This guy, in one word, rocks. He's by far the best mash-up DJ I've heard to date. After randomly downloading his Quentin Tarantino Mixtape I'm now on a quest to find anything else from this man. To the beat of James' mixes, I'm going to continue my colage book with a page made entirely from Wired Magazine's "Remix" issue. Maybe I'll send it to them. They'll have to appreciate that, won't they?

I'm in new york. More specificly Southampton. What a strange town. I wish I'd brought my camera to document this, as well as Manhattan. Oh well. That's what you get when you pack 5 minutes before leaving.

My plane leaves in 4 1/2 hours. I can't sleep. It's 4:30 in the morning. I'm updating this site with stuff that exists over here but not on dA yet. I realize now that I exerted more effort in the last year of school than can be rationalized. Hundred hour work weeks was not what I was expecting when I went to art school. I've got more to look forward to next year.

Finished the object series today. It looks freakin' awesome. The screen printed portfolio came out almost perfetcly, despite a few fuckups. Now, I just have two classes and I'm done with school - minus a few small details like moving out and finishing an essay i got an incomplete on.

I've got a bunch more peices in this series that I'd love to show - but deviantART submition policies would forbid me. The process we're (more or less) forced to use at CalArts is not too compatable with dA. Many of the images we use are in the best of cases of doubious legality, and at the worst outright copyright violations. So, in an effort to not have stuff removed, I won't put it up in the first place. However, I will most likely put up a PDF of the entire final project, if anyone would be intrested in that.
